The Nº 9478 spring loaded transom catch is typically used to secure active transom windows. The ring handle is designed to be used in conjunction with the transom hook. Mortised or surface-mounted strikes are available. All NANZ finishes are available.
The Nº 9482 transom stay allows an operable transom window to be held open. The brass chain supports the window as it is lowered. A pair may be necessary for larger windows. The chain is 11″ long. All NANZ finishes are available.
The Nº 9495 sash lock dates to the early 20th century. It is made of a well-finished, heavy forged brass. Sash locks began to appear in great variety in the 19th century, when double hung windows in residences supplanted other types of operable windows. The No 9496 sash lock is meant to secure double hung windows which are too high to reach. The loop in the latch handle allows a pole and hook (see the No 9581 transom hook) to engage or disengage the latch. A leaf spring holds the latch handle in horizontal or vertical position. Introducing the New Standard in lift & slide handles, the NANZ Nº 9500 919. The New Standard is recessed, avoiding blinds, curtains or other window treatments. Spring-loaded and push-button activated, the Nº 9500 919 will remain recessed when the door is open or closed and in both the locked and unlocked positions. It is equipped with a motion dampener and features 180o indicator detents. It will work with all lift & slide mechanisms and may be retrofitted to existing doors. The Nº 9506 is a simple lever designed to operate “Lift and Slide” doors. The escutcheon incorporates a positive stop mechanism that holds the lever in a locked or operable position. The detail on the face of the shank and the edge of the escutcheon keeps it from looking too severe and makes it suitable for a variety of different styles and interiors. The No 9513 is a quadrant type sash lock. The design eliminates the possibility of damage to the sash when opening the window. The overall dimensions are 2-7/8″ x 1-1/4”. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available.
