The No 9495 sash lock dates to the early 20th century. It is made of a well-finished, heavy forged brass. Sash locks began to appear in great variety in the 19th century, when double hung windows in residences supplanted other types of operable windows. The base measures 1″ x 2-7/8″ and the strike measures 7/16″ x 2-7/8”. All Nanz plated and patinated finishes are available.
