The No 2060 lever was designed for a private New York club in 1917. The S-shaped handle with chamfered edge joins the barrel of the shank with a cove. The oval rose has two exposed screws. Recommended finishes include dark antique brass, polished nickel, antique nickel and burnished brass, though all NANZ finishes are available. The No 2064 lever was inspired by an American Art Deco design of the 1930s. The overall outward flare softens the strict geometry of the stepped handle. The lever is adaptable to a variety of interiors, depending on the choice of finish; polished nickel, satin nickel and chrome, for example, emphasize the modernity of the design, while burnished brass and patinated finishes produce a more traditional appearance. A selection of related products is also available. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available. The handle can be provided with a variety of alternative rose designs. This handle can be used with traditional full-mortise locksets or manufactured for use with multi-point doors, tilt & turn windows as well as lift & slide doors.
The No 2065 modern lever was designed in the middle of the 20th century. Minimal in appearance, both ends of the flat handle have a slight curve that reflects that of the circular shank. The base end of the handle continues along the curve of the cylindrical shank while the opposite end mirrors the curve. The edge of the rose continues the motif, however a variety of more detailed roses can be substituted in its place. Available finishes include, but are not limited to polished chrome, satin nickel and dark oxidized bronze. This handle can be used with traditional full-mortise locksets or manufactured for use with multi-point doors and tilt & turn windows. It is also available with a square backplate and exposed fasteners.
The No 2066 lever, based on a Bauhaus design by Walter Gropius in the 1920s, incorporates a hexagonal handle in place of the cylindrical version. While the lever is simple in form, the subtleties of the design should not be overlooked. The outer edge of the shank curves in a slight radius, and the transition from the shank’s square section to round produces small triangular surfaces comparable to a dome’s pendentives, giving it visual strength. It can also be ordered with a round rose with a hidden fastener. Recommended finishes include satin nickel, dark oxidized bronze, antique brass and polished chrome as well as a vast selection of other finishes. This handle can be used with traditional full-mortise locksets or manufactured for use with multi-point doors and tilt & turn windows.
