Nº 8209S

The No 8209S cabinet knob, designed in the late 19th century, exhibits a cool, restrained elegance, anticipating the Style Moderne in France by perhaps two decades. A large straight knurl rings the domed face of the knob. Recommended finishes include burnished nickel, polished brass, burnished brass, polished chrome, and antique silver. It is often specified with the companion No 1209 knob, which is manufactured in a variety of sizes for full-size doors. The design is available in five sizes and is shown here with an optional rosette.

The 8220 faceted handle combines subtle organic curves with sharp edges. The cabinet pull is secured with exposed screws. As with all Nanz products this pull can be provided in a wide range of plated and patinated finishes.

The No 8224R ornate Georgian cabinet knob consists of three rope-knurled astragals separated by cavetto moldings that rise in diminishing rings and culminate in a boss in the center. A roped knurl circles the ogee profile of the optional rosette as well. It is often specified with the companion No 1224 Georgian knob, which is manufactured in a variety of sizes for full-size doors.
