A client once said, “If you looked up the word doorknob in the dictionary, you would see a picture of the No 1018.” The No 1018 round knob is an early 20th-century adaptation of an 18th-century Georgian design. The simplistic and classic proportions make the knob suitable for contemporary as well as traditional interiors. A polished finish emphasizes the simplicity of the knob, while a patinated finish highlights the molding details of the shank and rose. The knob has a 2" diameter and a projection of 2-½.'' Interior sets can be specified in privacy, passage, and dummy functions. Hinges can be added to complete the door and provide a cohesive design scheme.
