Verdigris is beautiful but highly dependent on the hardware to which the finish is applied and the location and level of use. The sample shown illustrates the beautiful nature of the dark green field punctuated by light green (almost white) oxidation built up within the crevices of the knob. This is a dynamic finish and is difficult to adjust or predict. Be advised, if the ultimate appearance is not to ones liking the hardware must be stripped and refinished.
