The Nº 2821 388 offset modern lever and racetrack escutcheon is designed to operate two point casement window mechanisms, the lever design is based on a design by Gio Ponti from the 1950s.. The escutcheon incorporates a positive stop mechanism which holds the lever in a locked or operable position. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available.
Designed as part of the Chizler Collection, the Nº 2860 lever design began with hand drawings, followed by wooden models. In the studio, files, saws, chisels and scrapers are utilized to fashion masters which are in turn used to create molds. Each handle is made through the lost wax process. The textured and organic nature of this handle interacts beautifully with a range of finishes. The No 2905 lever dates from the late 19th century and reflects movements in Great Britain and America to produce well-designed, handmade commodities that reject industrial production. The gentle curve of the handle scrolls around and ends in a heart-shaped leaf. The cusped rose with two exposed screws continues the tradition of gothic motifs that were revived in the 19th century. Recommended finishes include dark oxidized bronze, antique brass, and pewter. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available, as are alternative rose designs.
Created for a house on the east end of Long Island, the No 2911 lever is inspired by a Turritella shell. Set on a highly-shaped, ogee-filled rose, the detailed handle gently tapers to a scrolled end.
