The No 1425 round, white porcelain knob surmounts a straight shank and a circular rose with rounded edge and three exposed screws. This knob is a contemporary version of the porcelain knobs popular in the 19th century for their ability to contribute to the richness and variety of materials in domestic interiors. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage locks, and tubular latches may be provided with this knob. The shank and rose are available in all NANZ plated and patinated finishes. This knob is also available in black porcelain. It may be provided with alternative rose designs. It has a diameter of 2-3/8” with a projection of 2-1/5”.

The pronouced dome on the face of the No 1430 knob is circumscribed by an equally prominent astragal. The No 1438 drum knob is a synthesis of traditional Georgian forms. A flat ring distinguishes the boss at the center from the ogival face of the knob. The drum-like shape, delineated by two astragals reflected across a cavetto profile, surmounts the contoured shank. The ogee and astragal motif is repeated in the round rose. The knob measures 2-3/4″ in diameter and has a projection of 2-3/4”. The diameter of the rose measures 2-3/4”. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches and tubular latches may be provided for use with this knob. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available.
