The No 1305 Georgian knob, designed in 1998, reflects the same contour of its cousin, No 1305B. A plain astragal in a shallow step adorns the face. A cavetto molding at the base of the shank forms a transition to the rose, which has an ogee profile ringed by another plain astragal. The knob is available in 2″, 2-1/4″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ in diameters, as well as smaller diameters suitable for cabinetry. Backplates for cabinet knobs will be provided upon request at an additional cost. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches and tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. The classic simplicity of the knob is appropriate for period and contemporary interiors. Recommended finishes include burnished brass, dark oxidized bronze, polished brass and polished nickel, though all NANZ finishes are available. A myriad of rose designs is also available, as is a selection of related products.

Fine crystal handles gained popularity in the late 19th century and have since been a symbol of refinement and elegance in the home. The No 1307 elliptical crystal knob is hand cast and polished using the same manufacturing techniques used in the 1880s. The interior of the crystal is mirrored and bezel-set in a cylindrical shank with a complementary thin cylindrical rose making it suitable for contemporary projects. Although shown here in satin nickel, the knob is available in all plated and patinated finishes and can be supplied for either full mortise sets or tubular latches if preferred. A minimum order is required.

The curved edge of the No 1310 Georgian knob rises to a shallow ogee surmounted by a sunken boss at the center. Seen from the face, it creates the effect of a bull’s-eye. An architectural inventiveness appears in the repeated and varied molding details. The rose reflects the moldings while changing their proportions. The knob is available in 2″, 2-1/4″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ diameters, as well as smaller diameters suitable for cabinetry. For cabinet knobs, a selection of rose designs and backplates are available upon request at an additional cost. The hard, dense wood of the No 1315 round, turned African Blackwood knob has an appeal which is both tactile and visual. Wooden knobs were produced in the 19th century, often in rosewood or maple, to add to the decorative effect of a room, though they lost favor as Modernism took hold in the 20th century. This knob combines the sumptuousness of its 19th-century predecessors with the clean lines of modern design. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches, as well as tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. All NANZ finishes are available for the shank and rose, which can be chosen from a variety of designs. A minimum order is required for production. It has a diameter of 2-1/4” and a projection of 2-7/8”.
