Nº 1024

The No 1024 round knob is an early 20th Century adaptation of classic Georgian design. The simplicity of the well-proportioned profile makes the knob suitable for contemporary as well as traditional interiors. The rose’s profile is composed of an ogee followed by an astragal and cove at the edge. The knob may be provided in 1-3/4”, 2”, 2-1/4”, 2-1/2”, 2-3/4″ and 3” diameters for doors, and the No 8024 cabinet knob is available in 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2” and 1-3/4″ diameters. Backplates for cabinet knobs may be provided upon request at an additional cost. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches and tubular latches may be provided for use with this knob. All NANZ finishes are available as is a series of alternative rose designs.

The No 1024F is based on a design dating to the early 20th-century. This contemporary adaptation achieves a modern aesthetic by updating classical molding profiles. The faceted profile features four semi-elliptical forms enclosing a rectangular face with two concave sides. The rose’s profile is composed of an ogee followed by an astragal and cove at the edge. The knob is available in larger diameters for doors, as well as smaller diameters for cabinetry. Backplates for cabinet knobs can be provided upon request at an additional cost. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches and tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available as is a series of alternative rose designs.

The stately No 1025 Georgian knob incorporates classical architectural motifs to create its unique design. Shallow ogees circle the face and rose, transitioning into a cavetto joining the knob and shank marked by fine steps. The knob may be provided in 2”, 2-1/4”, 2-1/2”, and 3” diameters for doors, and the No 8025 cabinet knob is available in 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, and 1-3/4” diameters. In addition to a variety of rose designs, full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches and tubular latches may be provided for use with this knob. Finishes available include, but are not limited to, burnished brass, antique brass, dark oxidized bronze, antique gold and antique silver.

The No 1028 round knob stylishly reinterprets Regency English decorative motifs. The face of the knob curves in a shallow ogee surmounted by an omphalos, while reeded bands ring the circumference. The underside of the knob and the face of the rose mirror the ogee. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches, as well as tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. Recommended finishes include burnished brass, pewter, polished nickel, satin nickel, antique gold and silver, though all NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available. Alternative rose designs can also be provided. The knob measures 2-1/2″ in diameter with a projection of 2-1/2”. Cabinetry sizes are also available for this knob as the No 8028.

The No 1032B neoclassical knob features gently flaring cross handles that terminate in an ogival dome ringed by a beaded astragal. The ogee motif is continued in the cylindrical center post as well as in the rose, which also repeats the beading detail. The knob can also be produced with a roped or plain astragal. T-handles are typically used on either a cremone or in pairs for double doors. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches, as well as tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. All NANZ plated and patinated finishes are available. The handle measures 3-1/8″ across with a projection of 2-3/8”.

A single cavetto molding rings the domed face of the No 1034 Georgian knob. A slight step separates the handle from the shank. Although Neoclassical in origin, the restrained design is suitable for contemporary as well as traditional interiors. The knob is available in  smaller diameters suitable for cabinetry. Backplates for cabinet knobs are available upon request at an additional cost. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches, as well as tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. The design of the knob is adaptable to a wide variety of roses. Recommended finishes include polished nickel, antique brass, burnished brass, pewter and antique gold or silver. In addition a myriad of other NANZ plated and patinated finishes is available.
