The No 3754 modern lift-off hinge, sometimes called a paumelle, updates 18th-century French design by eliminating superfluous ornament. The upper and lower cylindrical knuckles are separated by a disk-shaped bearing that creates a sense of proportion that works well in both traditional and modern interiors. The hinge is shown with ball finials. The hinge is handed; the right-hand hinge is shown. Nanz also manufactures a matching cabinetry paumelle. All Nanz plated and patinated finishes are available.
