Nº 1145

The design of No 1145 spherical knob, originating in the late 19th century, avoids historical references showing a proto-functionalism which anticipates modern movements in America and Europe, such as the Bauhaus. Concentric bands ring the circumference and the face. The chamfer of the square rose and the cove surrounding the base of the shank are nods to the classical sense of balance and proportion. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage latches, as well as tubular latches can be provided for use with this knob. A round rose with concealed fasteners can also be provided. All Nanz plated and patinated finishes are available. The knob measures 2″ in diameter with a projection of 2-7/8”.
