The No 8406 cabinet knob was inspired by an American Art Deco design of the 1930s. The strict geometry of the stepped face is softened by a slight outward flaring of the bullnose edge. The knob is adaptable to a variety of interiors, depending on the choice of finish; polished nickel, satin nickel and chrome, for example, emphasize the modernity of the design, while burnished brass and patinated finishes produce a more traditional appearance.
