The No 8085R, designed by the firm of Jed Johnson and Alan Wanzenberg in 1992, exhibits Georgian proportions and molding details. A roped knurl rings the circumference of the knob and another borders the sunken ogival face surmounted by a boss. Recommended finishes include pewter, burnished brass, satin nickel, and antique brass. It is often specified with the companion No 1085 knob, which is manufactured in a variety of sizes for full-size doors. The cabinet knob is available in five sizes and is shown here with an optional rosette.
