The No 7815 magnet latch is an upgraded version of current cabinet and cupboard latches. Since the mechanism operates via magnetic attraction, there is no resistance in the closing operation so the door need not be pushed into place, as with traditional cupboard latches. The strike and latch operate with minimal visual presence and grant a reassuring snap when reaching the closed position. The magnetic bolt is released using a  thumbturn, which may be substituted with most Nanz cabinet knobs.
