The No 7242 surface mounted rim lock, sometimes called a box lock, can be used with many Nanz handles. The deadbolt is operated with a bit key from the interior. Either a cylinder or a keyhole escutcheon can be ordered for the exterior. The body measures 5-3/4” x 3-7/8” with a 1” projection. All Nanz plated and patinated finishes are available. The lock is also available in larger sizes as the No 7244, (4-1/4” x 8”) or the No 7243 (3-3/4″ x 6″).
