Nº 2066

The No 2066 lever, based on a Bauhaus design by Walter Gropius in the 1920s, incorporates a hexagonal handle in place of the cylindrical version. While the lever is simple in form, the subtleties of the design should not be overlooked. The outer edge of the shank curves in a slight radius, and the transition from the shank’s square section to round produces small triangular surfaces comparable to a dome’s pendentives, giving it visual strength. It can also be ordered with a round rose with a hidden fastener. Recommended finishes include satin nickel, dark oxidized bronze, antique brass and polished chrome as well as a vast selection of other finishes. This handle can be used with traditional full-mortise locksets or manufactured for use with multi-point doors and tilt & turn windows.
