The No 7048 full mortise Entry lockset, typically specified for apartments, is available in standard and extended backsets. The lockset incorporates an adjustable bevel faceplate and a three piece anti-friction latch. A toggle on the faceplate allows the exterior handle to retract the latch when flipped. This lockset is suitable for doors 1-3/8″ thick or greater. When ordering, specify knob or lever function, and backset type. A strike plate and wrought metal dustbox are provided. The lockset can be delivered with any Nanz handle, thumbturn, and cylinder. All finishes are available.This lock is UL Listed and has a 3 hour fire rating.
