The No 1423 round, white porcelain knob surmounts a straight shank that rests within an ogee-profile rose. Porcelain knobs, popular in the 19th century, contributed to the richness and variety of materials in domestic interiors. Full mortise entry locks, privacy locks, passage locks, and tubular latches can be provided with this knob. The shank and rose are available in all Nanz plated and patinated finishes. It can be provided with alternative rose designs. The knob is also available in black. It has a diameter of 2-1/4'' with a projection of 2-1/4''.
